Hansi Flick

Hansi Flick was born in 1965 in Heidelberg and first made his mark on German football as a player – including five years at FC Bayern Munich and three at 1. FC Köln. But his true greatness unfolded as a coach.

From 2006 to 2014, he was assistant coach of the German national team and part of the staff that won the World Cup title in Brazil in 2014. In 2019, he took over FC Bayern Munich on an interim basis – and made history: he led the club to the sextuple, the historic achievement of winning all six possible titles in one season, including the Champions League.

What sets Hansi Flick apart is not just his tactical instinct, but above all his ability to lead people. He creates an environment in which players flourish, trust grows, and performance becomes a source of joy. The press in Barcelona affectionately calls him «Daddy» – a nickname that says more about his leadership style than any statistic.

Since 2024, he has been head coach of FC Barcelona and won the Spanish treble in his first season. With young talents like Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Pau Cubarsí, he shows that great leadership isn’t a question of age – but of attitude.
